Preparing for medical school, Shiv Shukla’s world was rocked working at a VA clinic when a patient took a shotgun to his own leg, in an effort to deal with his chronic nerve pain caused from an IED blast. That moment changed Shiv’s life, sending him on an entrepreneurial journey that included performing clinical research, building his own medical device to deal with chronic nerve pain, and overcoming immense obstacles in an effort the help others.
